If you have FOIA documents, leaked memos, emails, contracts, or anything that helps expose ICE operations — you can upload them. We review every file.

What You Can Submit

  • FOIA releases (PDFs, scanned images, zip files)
  • Internal memos or emails
  • Facility inspection reports
  • Contractor invoices and procurement docs
  • Surveillance and tech contracts
  • Court records
  • Whistleblower material

Accepted Formats

We accept: PDF, JPG, PNG, DOCX, XLSX, TXT, and ZIP files. If your file type isn’t listed, contact us and we’ll figure it out.

How to Upload

Use our secure upload portal (coming soon). Files can be submitted anonymously. We do not log IP addresses or metadata.

What Happens Next

  1. Our team will review the file manually.
  2. Relevant excerpts may be quoted in public entries.
  3. Full files may be made available in our document library.
  4. Sensitive info (names of survivors, identifying details) will be redacted if needed.

What We Won’t Do

  • We won’t share your info.
  • We won’t post files without review.
  • We won’t publish any document that puts someone at risk unless they’ve given informed consent.

This Is About Evidence

You don’t need to build the case — just share what you have. Every document sharpens the record. Every release makes it harder for ICE and its collaborators to hide.

Report a Raid https://icelist.is/ice/report-a-raid/ Thu, 03 Jul 2025 09:27:10 +0000 https://icelist.is/?post_type=epkb_post_type_1&p=67 If you witness or hear about an ICE raid, it needs to be documented. Raids often happen quietly, off the books, or with little media attention. That’s on purpose. They depend on silence, fear, and chaos. Reporting a raid helps us map patterns, identify agents, and warn others in the area.

What to Look For

  • Unmarked vehicles or vans near apartment complexes, trailer parks, or work sites
  • Officers in plain clothes, often wearing ICE badges or bulletproof vests
  • Sudden activity around early morning hours (between 4–8 a.m.)
  • People being stopped, questioned, or taken away without explanation
  • Blocked entrances, detained family members, or neighborhood lockdowns

What to Send Us

  • Photos or video (ONLY if it’s safe to take them)
  • Date, time, and exact location of the raid
  • Description of what happened (number of officers, what was said, who they targeted)
  • License plate numbers or vehicle descriptions
  • Any names or badge numbers you can safely record

You can submit anonymously. Your safety comes first. Do not engage with agents or put yourself at risk to get information.

What We Do With It

We use your report to:

  • Track ICE activity in specific cities and neighborhoods
  • Link agents to incidents
  • Create public warnings or alerts
  • Build the case history for local field offices

We may also share it with legal aid groups working to protect impacted communities.

What Not to Do

  • Do not follow ICE vehicles
  • Do not try to intervene directly
  • Do not post faces of undocumented individuals on social media
  • Do not submit false or exaggerated reports

This system only works if people stay safe and honest.

Spread the Word

If you saw a raid, someone else probably did too. Let them know they can report it here. This is how we watch the watchers.

Every raid report matters. It tells a story they’re trying to erase.

Submit a FOIA https://icelist.is/ice/submit-a-foia/ Thu, 03 Jul 2025 09:20:10 +0000 https://icelist.is/?post_type=epkb_post_type_1&p=64 The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lets anyone request documents from the U.S. government. That includes ICE. FOIAs are one of the most powerful tools we have to uncover names, actions, policies, and coverups. You don’t need to be a lawyer or a journalist to file one — you just need to know what to ask for.

What Can You Request?

  • Rosters of ICE agents at specific field offices or detention centers
  • Use-of-force reports or complaints filed by detainees
  • Emails between ICE and private contractors
  • Documents about raids, arrests, deaths in custody, or policy changes
  • Contracts with Geo Group, CoreCivic, Palantir, and others

How to File a FOIA

  1. Decide what you’re asking for. Be specific. The more detail you give (names, dates, locations), the better your chances.
  2. Choose the right agency. For ICE-related documents, submit to:
  • U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)
  • Department of Homeland Security (DHS)
  • Customs and Border Protection (CBP) if it’s a border-related case
  1. Submit your request online:
  1. Track your request. Save the tracking number. It might take months.
  2. Appeal delays or denials. You have the right to appeal if they refuse to respond or redact too much.

Tips

  • Be polite but assertive. This is your legal right.
  • Use sample templates from MuckRock or the ACLU.
  • Mention you’re requesting in the public interest — this can waive fees.
  • Don’t give up if they delay. They expect people to drop off.

Share What You Find

If you receive documents, send them to us. Even a single email or redacted form can connect dots we’re already tracking. We’ll review, publish, and cite it properly.

You don’t need to ask permission to hold the government accountable. FOIA is built for you. Use it.
